Parents & Guests

Hi Parents and Guests! I know it can be stressful and worrisome as your student makes their transition to college. Please try and cast those worries aside because Clemson has so many different programs in place to help your student's success here at Clemson! I've provided the links to pages I think you will find helpful but if you have any questions/concerns please don't hesitate to go to the contact page and send me a message. Also if you would like you can click here to go to Clemson's main Orientation page.

Academic Success Center:

To help ensure your student's success Clemson has created the Academic Success Center. The ASC offers study rooms, tutoring, academic coaching and much more. For me this is one of my favorite places to study because it is quiet and the chairs are extremely comfy! If you would like to learn more about all the differnt programs and workshops the ASC offers feel free to click here

Redfern:

Something Clemson offers to its students is a health center on campus. As students we are dealing with things like academics, being a part of organizations, athletics and so on and when we get sick doing all those things is difficult. With Redfern students can simply make an appointment like a normal doctors office and go in to see why they're sick. This is convenient and so helpful when feeling under the weather. Click here to learn more information about the services Redfern offers.

Dinning, Housing and Parking:

I know it can seem kind of intimidating when looking at all the different housing options and meal plans. Just remember all the choices are to ensure that you and your student can pick the ideal selection. Click here to get more information on housing and meal plans. Clemson does allow students to have a car on campus, but you will need to purchase a parking pass. Along with that Clemson provides a bus system called the CAT bus which runs to places like apartments, grocery stores and Anderson. We also have Tiger Transit which is a shuttle type bus that students can call if they don't wish to walk through campus. This is great if your student has a night class or involved in night organizations because Tiger Transit prevents them from walking in the dark. To learn more about parking, the CAT bus and Tiger Transit simply click here.
