Freshmen Students
As a freshman you will be required to live on campus as well as have a meal plan. There are various options for dorms as well as types of meal plans. If you would like to learn more about these choices simply click the image below. As a freshman you are allowed to bring a car, but you will need to purchase a residential parking pass. If you will not have a car on campus, no worries, Clemson has a transportation system called the CAT bus that makes stops at grocery stores and even all the way in Anderson to name a few. It can be nerve racking coming into a place where the game of academics has shifted. To help in your success, Clemson has various programs to help aid you in your academic developement. Here at Clemson we have the Academic Success Center that offers tuturing, academic coaching, workshops and much more. To learn more click on the photo directly below.
At Clemson there are countless clubs or student organizations to get involved in, just make sure you leave enough study room. At the beginning of the school year we have an event called Tiger Prowl where student organizations are set up and students can go around and learn about all the different kinds. One aspect Clemson prides itself on is its traditions. When you get a chance click on the photo below to learn about Clemson's traditions. I would also add to the list that you eat at the Esso and Mac's, walk around the Botanical Gardens, study in the amphitearter, watch a sunset on the dikes and lastly make the most out of your time here at Clemson.
